hard start, it needs 3 to 4 crank of the ignition before it starts. no problem when running, but when I stop and turns off the engine and restart again it will start immediately, but when left engine off for an hour it will be hard starting. what could be the problem? i am suspecting a fuel line, but i dont know where to start. fuel pump is good and working

 

When you say 3-4 cranks do you mean 3-4 revolutions of the engine, or turning the key off and on 3-4 times. If the second, you are losing fuel pressure somewhere in the system. There are a number of possibilities, a leaking check valve would be my first suspect.
