Default discovery brush guard

i bought a stock brush guard off a 2002 disco and now i am wondering how to get it on. do i need to cut a hole in my bumper? it looks like i take off the tow hook on the drivers side and the bracket hooks up there, is that right. any advise would be great!!!

I had a factory brush gaurd on my 2000. There is a removable panel on the bumper, that has to be removed. Hold up the bumper to the mounting point behind that hole then mark where the hole needs to go for the other side. you have to get the bolts very tightor else the gaurd will move when you hit a big bump.
