Default 1998 Disco ignition problem

Yesterday, my son was playing around with my 98 Disco and locked and unlocked the driver's door from the outside. He set off the alarm while he was at it. Just a kid having fun.

Well, much to my chagrin, the darn thing won't turn over now! [:@]It has a brand new battery, brand new fuel pump, etc and prior to this (like, driving up in the driveway not two minutes before), it ran fine with no issue.

Now, I have nothing but a click when I try to turn it over. Any ideas??

I did recently replace the fuel pump, BTW.

NVM, boys. You can all stand down. The Mule cranked like a champ this AM when I went out to see if anything had changed. There is probably some time delay on the ignition kill switch portion of the anti-theft system similar to the one-hour deal on the radio code (answer to other question this morning).

I learned something new.
I would not thought of a time delay.

Well, that's the only thing I can think of what it could have been. [&:]I tried resetting the alarm with the key fob, locked and unlocked the doors with it, actually set off the alarm with it once and turned it off with the fob - all of that. Nothing. [sm=boohoo.gif][sm=headbang.gif]

The only other thing it could be is sometimebetween 7:00 last night and 7:30this morning, the ignition fairy [sm=grinangel.gif]came along and sprinkledits pixie dust on it and *POOF!* spark. [sm=thanx.gif]
