Default Discovery Buying Advice

I'm looking at discoverys to buy and my friend reports seeing one for sale for only 2500 dollars. It is, apparently, a 2nd gen, between 2000 and 2002. It "runs good" and "needs TLC." my friend says some of the console switches were out of their niches and there was a dent in the door but was otherwise fine, no rust. I'm leery because it isn't a particularly old or crappy car. Why is it so cheap?

yloDiscoII: got wheels and it runs. supposedly 100,000 miles.

Default More info

Could be a number of things....

You're going to need to give us more info in order to answer your question accurately. Does it run? Does it have 1,000,000,000 miles on it? Does it have wheels?
