Discovery full gas tank
Hello LR fans!
This question is for Discovery owners. How much do you spend in fulling up gas tank? (Maybe around $2.50 a gallon average?)
I am currently debating to get a Disco or not. I heard is $70 for a full tank?

if you are worried about if the gas is going to cost 50 or 70 per tank you cant afford a land rover they require premium fuel and repairs are very expencive but with the proper maintence they can be a good suv to have ..

If you are worrying about the cost to fill a gas tank, please, do yourself a favor cause you don't really want a 4wheeler, much less a Disco.
It is good that you are concerned, but if gas were the issue as an expense, what about maintance?

crv!!
RAV 4 or if you must have a LR get a Freelander.
All Disco's have a 25 gal tank, so do the math.
But when you do figure on buying 20 gals at a time as the low fuel light comes on when there is about 5 gals left.
So @ $2.50 per gal for regular (87 octane) you are looking at $50.
Now with the "ten cent spread" premium will be $2.70 per gal and then you are looking at $54 for 20 gallons of push water.
If you are trying to plan your budget and need to know what you will be spending every week in gas then look at the MPG ratings of the cars/SUV's that you are looking at and remember that ALL Land Rovers require premium gas, no ifs ands or buts about it.
With a Disco you are realistically looking at 12-14 MPG city and 16-18 MPG expressway.

LOL Spike, don't be so mean! Freelanders are more expensive to drive than Discos!
