Downwards pressure
So I got my kit... I’m soaked in sweat and I ran into an issue.
I can’t seem to break through the last layer of trim. I can’t develop enough downwards pressure to get the screw to completely settle. Any ideas?
Still looks a lot better but I’m not trying to do a half *** job.
also I lost a screw in between the not so helpful front window and dash just for those planning on installing this kit.

I just glued my warped dashbord. When it's hot and sunny and the car is parked in the sun, the dashbord gets quite soft. I used a heat gun in addition and it got very easy to push it down. I used Aquaseal, which is an urethane glue (pls see below). To get the glue underneath the dashboard I used a syringe with a thick bent needle. When the glue is warm, it gets very fluid and can be pushed through the needle. Letting the tube sit in the sun for a few minutes is sufficient. The heat gun can be used to heat the glue up more, especially the glue in needle.

Brilliant idea! What types of weights are you using there?

Has it stayed in place after gluing?
