ORIGINAL: AKRover

UPDATE:
Well Spike555 you were spot on! Took the vehicle to the dealer, told them what I thought was the problem (CKP Sensor). An hour after dropping it off, I got the call that the sensor was bad. 3 hours later I got a call to pick up.

Thanks Spike555 for your help, and thank you to the original AK Rover for stepping into the fray about the remote starter although it really should not have been necessary, but thank you none the less.

Have a Happy New Year!!!
No problem imposter AK. lol
If you dont mind my asking how much did the dealer charge you for the crank sensor?

Gentlemen,

I am having the exact same problem and just got my crank sensor in.
Only problem is I am having a problem figuring out how to remove and replace it. I really hope it fixes the problem.
Does anyone have esxperience changing the sensor. I believe I may have to disconnect the muffler.

Happy New Year to everyone

No you do not need to remove the muffler, which is at the back of the truck.
The crank sensor is on the drivers side of the engine, half way down on the back of the engine near the fire wall.
