I believe the new Disco is a Gen 5 version, the real Discos ended at the LR4, or Discovery 4, now we have the super dooper eco luvvies shopping trolleys for taking the kids to school and visiting the super markets. I'm not sure of their offroad capabilities but most will only see offroad when they get parked on the grass verge outside the school or on the village green for the cricket match.

I told my wife she had to wait at least a year till they get the bugs worked out and I wanted to see if planks would come out with a power package for it. If they do, I see a diesel in her future

Mechanically it's the same as the RR and RRS, same wheelbase, width. Different body. Towing on the V6SC will be over 8,000 lbs. Diesel towing is just under 8K lbs.
