Can you change out the bulbs to higher wattage versions without causing problems? (i.e.- melting the housings/wiring.)

I think I would want to know if I could get a different beam pattern for two of them too. You can't use them on-road, but being able to see further out than a driving light will project is still nice when off-road in open areas...

it's just some generic lights. i don't think it's worth $20. It won't fit right and will look like crap IMO.

Anything that mounts to the surface may wear through the paint from vibration. Something to consider if you plan to ever remove it. Also, they ship "by default" the blue lens. Check your local laws, but where I live Blue Lights are reserved exclusively for Law Enforcement. Instant ticket.

I saw one up close on a liberty, same manufacture only it had round lights.
I have to say it look like something you would get a k-mart in the peal and stick isle.

When I had my disco I considered a light bar like the one above, however I changed my mind after researching the distributor. The Liberty light bar is made by a different company than the one in the ebay ad and wouldn't be a bad idea if you don't mind the look other than the fact that it is curved to fit the top of a liberty and not a rover. I was going to go with a gutter mounted light bar that I could customize with my own lights but sold it before I could. The Liberty light bar costs around $500 as well so it really doesn't compare with the one made in china that you listed.

all you need is two gutter mounts and a piece or metal as a cross bar. go!
