Hey All, I am a fairly new discovery owner and love the vechile. After reading the forum, I am worried about the U joints, eventhough the vechile is not symptomatic. I have a 2003 with 89000 mi and unsure about the repair history. Not being mechanically inclinded, I am looking for a reliable and fair discovery mechanic in the Fort Collins, CO area. Any help or advice would be appreciate. Here are some of the problems which have developed, any advice?:

1. Power locks. I am able to lock the doors with the key and interior dash switch, but unable to open any doors. Can manually open when the interior handle is used, but lock *** doesn't lift up.

2. Had snow on my windsheild and after turning on the wipers, they froze in place. Unable to get them working (no windshiel fluid either when triggered). I checked the fuses located in the engine compartment, but no luck.

Your door lock actuators are all shut. Just had to change all of mine in the lasts weeks. They all went bad within a few days of each other. Changed them all and everything is perfect now. About $130.00 each,new from the dealer.

As for the wipers, I'd have to look at the Rave CD for that.
