Default Discovery OEM Brush bars

Just a note to let anyone inquiring about such things know that the brackets for mounting the earlier type brush guards, are the same brackets used on the later, 2003/2004 brush guards. In explanation, for my 2004 Discovery, I
bought one of the earlier type original steel brush guards, but also found mounting brackets for the later 2003/2004 brush guards, and they fit perfectly, so I was able to mount my earlier Discovery brush guard without any problems on my 2004. If anyone intends to mount either earlier or later brush guard on a Discovery, I can offer suggestions; help, and I can also share a written sheet of instructions with them---send me a PM with your questions.

Hi! Do you know if an early 2000s Land Rover brush guard would fit on a 2013 LR4? Thanks!

Hi - Nope, nothing from a D2 or Range Rover P38 or Freelander (which would be all the model range of the "early 2000's") will fit.

You can, however, take an LR3 brush guard (LR3 was 2005 to 2009) and hack up the 2010-2013 V8 LR4 front bumper to make it fit, but ... a bit of a thing to get done. Looks cool though. But... LR3 front brush guard I don't believe works V6 LR4 2014-2016 without even more significant hacking and relocation of cooling system components up front.
