Default Discovery seat switch question

Looks like the passenger side seat switch in my 2000 Disco has gone out. The seat is in the fully reclined position and the button that operates the back of the seat does nothing at all. The other button which controls the lower part of seat works just fine. The switch will not be in to the local LR dealer until end of week. Does anyone know if there is any kind of by-pass or a mechanical way i can get the seat back into an upright position? Thanks for any assistance.

there is no manual way to do it. you need to check your fuses and the ground on the seat first and then if it doesnt work the rise and fall motor needs to be replaced.
