i started the thread to let anyone interested know that i found a place on ebay that you can buy and download instantly many different repair manuals. all i did was type in land rover repair manuals and selected my discovery II and i could buy it now for total $6.50. this gave me instant access to the entire manual plus a cd of the manual will be delivered to my house. this way you can navigate to where you want and print only the pages that you want. it is the gold mine. i'm not computer savy so it took me a while to get it downloaded, but for those of you who can work a computer it probably want take you no time to figure it out. good luck and i hope you find what you need

 

Uh hate to break this to you but that is a free download, we all have it and its FREE. Welcome to the internet search before you buy something you will find it for cheaper

It is called the rave CD and is actually a super manual for all land rover models up until something like 2005. Here is the link:
