Default Disoc doenst like the cold

Hey! I have a Disco I and on cold mornings recently in oregon, when I start my rover and put it in gear it revs up and down sort of jerky, only like to 1500 RPM's and it goes away quickly once the engine warms a bit. Is this a problem, I have been running regular gas in it, I am going to switch today, or should I just let it warm up a bit more before driving?

Regular gas isn't causing your problem but it will screw up your engine so do change and keep high octane in it only, you will get better MPG, power and won't carbon up your engine causing misfires.
Sounds like in your case, your IAC or stepper motor,( idle control) is either dirty or failing, would suggest you have someone clean and or replace it.
