Grom interface done. Why didn't I do this sooner. Very happy the way it works.
Radio removal was a bear. Probably spent more time trying to get the radio out
than the entire Grom installation. It's that rubber booted pin behind the radio that
was holding it back all along. Just had to keep jiggling the unit till it was free.
Got 3 knuckle blisters, lol. The Grom unit was located on the driverside above the
footboard and not behind the radio unit ( no room there ).

My only question is how would I also do an integration for my Samsung Note and my wife has an iPhone 5! So I don't know how all this is going to play! I really like this Mod A LOT, and it seems to have all the options except the Samsung part! Plus, I also have a portable Sirius/XM receiver that I am currently running via FM Transmitter (Which I hate), it does have an audio output/input jack, so I guess that is an option.

Nicely done!
I've been struggling with this too.
Currently I've just spliced into the CD and put a 1/8th plug on the passenger seat panel. Works nicely, except the sound shuts off for a few seconds every now and then as the CD unit switches disks.
I was planning on a switch so I could flip between CD and iPhone, but then realized I don't own any CD from later than about 1998 and thought "why bother?". Wish I could figure out how to just turn it off, but the stereo gets an error message if I just unplug it.
One horrible onion in your ointment (and I'm sorry for mentioning it) — the new "lightning connector"! Soon enough those apple 30 pins are going to look as old fashioned as that tape deck.
