DIY D2 TerraFirma 2" Suspension Install Video by Rovers North
Lets make this a sticky please!
Found this video on youtube and thought it would be a good sticky for anyone looking to replace/upgrade their suspension. I still have not installed my TF 2" HD kit yet so I downloaded the vid to my phone and it sure beats the Rave!

I watched Justins 3 times, then hit the garage... about 90 mins later I was done.

Zack do you recommend replacing the genuine shock towers when upgrading the suspension to TF 2' HD kit? Noticed the guy in the video replaced his with those aftermarket towers. Is it necessary? Also it seems like those aftermarket towers would only allow even more water/dirt/snow/salt to infiltrate the engine bay and wreck havoc on everything.

Depends on how rusty they are Julian. Not worth replacing if they're not too corroded. We sell a galvanized version of the towers in that video though, rust proof!

my $.02 (worth probably $.002) the isolators, that house the bolts to the tower are the weak link. i've snapped plenty of those bolts off. in my experience, they suffer the brunt of the corrosion.

True Dusty, they are generally a problem. In the video we switch to the Terrafirma model - TERRAFIRMA HD SECR RINGS FOR FRT TOWERS, TF502, RNA502 - Rovers North - Classic Land Rover Parts
