If your serial number is on the list of recalled units, yes, just call and set up an appointment.

Not to steal the thread, but if a truck was fixed under a recall and it breaks again, is it eligible for the recall again? I had my tank replaced and it is jiggling around again and there is a hairline crack by the fuel pump and vent. I get a P1496 every once in a while, but it goes away after a few starts....

How do you say"NOPE"??
Once a truck has had the new tank installed you are out of luck unless you can show that the recall wasn't installed correctly. You can easily tighten the top strap to stop the tank for giggling around.
As for the leak, might want to talk to an auto parets store about a epoxy that works on fuel tanks.

OH, what's wrong, have we sent you too much cold this year?? I woke up and it was 2 degrees out and snowing. Get out there and get the codes read.

Got our 02 from a used lot, is there a way to look up or will a dealership know if Recall repairs have been completed on your vehicle. I tried searching the NHSTA (or whatever the letters are) and couldn't find anything that jumped out and told me that you could search by your VIN or anything.

My mom always said that if it didn't jump out and slap you, you would never find it.
