Default dodge v8 into disco 2

has anyone ever tried this or seen if it can be done, a friend of mine has a hemi v8 and gets something like 300 hp and is not bad on fuel, i dont like domestic vehicles usually but they seem to make good v8's, would be interesting if it can be done.

Anything can be done, but it won't be easy or cheap. Especially on a D2 with all of the computers that talk to each other.

Anything can be done.

What matters is how difficult and expensive it will be.

If you have to ask the question, you probably shouldn't be thinking about it.

I don't think a total build would be that hard if you have the time and money. You would rip the whole harness out and wire from scratch. I have done this on two vehicles. I rewired a 24v generator system to a 12v alt system. No electronics really, but everything had to be built and wired from scratch. I would imagine once you made motor mounts and a trans adapter, or swapped that out too, you would gut the truck and rewired everything with a simple engine management system, gauges, etc. I'd hack in a 4 speed and dump the electronic tranny. With enough time and money anything is possible.

It would be cheaper and easier just to order a engine from ECR Service
