Default Does the D1 front wiper arm fit a D2

Getting sick of having to finding blades to fit the D2 wiper arms.

The D1 arm has a more traditional blade receiver/mount, i.e., it takes normal wiper blades.

Does the D1 wiper arm fit on the D2? Is there a difference between left and right?

I don't think they changed the windscreen form factor when they went from the D1 to D2 body, but not sure.

Thanks in advance for any insight on this?

I always find the D2 blades at any Advance Auto Parts. However D1 wiper arms are the way to go with say a set of Bosch Icon blades.

Blades for those are easy to find.
I think I paid $5-$7 for one from Lucky8.

D2 blades were around $28...a piece, and had to be ordered from my local Advance Auto.
The new D1 arms and blades were $59 at Lucky8.
And new blades are $8 each now.

Yeah 21.00 each here. I grab the OEM arms at a pick n pull whenever I can off a D1 for usually 5.00 for the set, and then spend $$ on some good blades and call it a day. I have 2 D2’s with their OEM arms, but as I find D1 arms they’ll eventually be gone.
