Before anybody changes there fuel pump and is going to spen somewhere around $300 bucks, get ahold of me. There is a cheaper way, like only $80 bucks. You don't need to replace the entire assembly, just the pump. Some of you may know this but some may make the mistake.

Being a Ford man (mustangs) how do you live with the GM motor under the hood of your Rover?

In some cases, the actual assy. has to be replaced. The two metal pipes that come out of the top of the pump on my RRC actually broke; I am getting new pipes rather than the whole pump.

Trust me it is diffucult to live with the fact i have gm all over my rover, but it's not too bad, at least it has some american in it so i can work on it.

That is true but if just your pump goes bad i was just trying to help people save some money, i did the research so i just want to pass it on.

i dont think my year has an american motor, german i think. But probably the good thing about a ford motor = replacements, and how easy it is to get ahold of one here.
