Door lock actuator rebuild

Ive been reading a couple of actuator rebuilds and Im wondering if I can swap the superlock motor out with the regular lock? I don't want the superlock anyway. Just wondering if anyone has performed this proceedure

Waste of time.
Spend $180 and get a brand new one.

You don't want to do this three or four times in a row when your rebuild fails.
Trust me.
