Default Door Lock Actuators

So, every power door lock actuator on my 2000 DII is bad including the driver door and rear gate. For real.
I noticed Atlantic British doesnt have these listed, but does sell D1 actuators. Will D1 door lock actuators fit a 99-02 DII?

I just ordered one (Drivers) from PartsGeek. In stock for DII.

So do the DI actuators work for 99-02 DII?

No, unfortunately they will not. Keep your eyes open in the classifieds for someone parting out a D2, or call a specialist like Will Tillery (www.roverguy.com) to get the best deal on used ones.

Also, do a search on this forum on how everybody replaces them. Not everyone thinks the RAVE manual gives the best explanation of how to change them.

Good luck!

I had to replace the rear door actuators on my 04 D2.
I ordered used ones from a used Rover parts outfit in Oklahoma
http://carcannibal.com/rover/default.asp.
It takes about 45 min per door and you do need to remove the window and frame.
It is a pretty straight forward job.
I hope this helps.

Was really hoping D1 actuators would be cheaper, as a nearby junkyard has a totalled D1 whose actuators would probably be good :/
I'll probably call Marty Powell in Kentucky to buy some junkyard ones, since he's close enough that I won't need to have anything shipped.
