I have a Discovery 3 SE TD6 and absolutely love the car. I have never had a problem with anything mechanical.
BUT the GPS nav system is a complete disgrace - in South Africa it does not have all the roads (even in Cape Town) and if you go anywhere outside the big city areas there is just no maps! Last weekend an excursion to a well known tourist town of Riebeek Kasteel and it did not exist to the GPS!
Garmin is much better and I am interested to know if anyone has replace the factory unit with a Garmin or other better GPS. Is there one that fits in the same place on the dash?

I am assuming you have an LR3 and if that is the case, you might want to post this question in that section where you may get some answers.
Good luck with this issue, I think you are not going to find the software you are wanting but am not sure.
