Default Dreaded SLS, was only a matter of time...

So to be honest, my compressor has been loud for about two years but always seemed to function fine. Then the last couple of weeks the SLS light would come on but would clear when I would restart it. I have not heard the compressor for a while though. So this morning I come out and it's on the bump stops. Well, almost.. the springs still had a little air in them. Long story short, I took the compressor out and dissembled it. It was full of water. seems spiders had nest in all of the vent lines blocking the air intake too! Anyway, new compressor from Arnott is on the way. I'm cleaning all of the lines out now and making a new filter for the intake behind the tail light. Fun way to spend Thanksgiving huh?

I pretty much have arachnophobia. Heedless of cost, I probably would have set the whole thing on fire and just bought a new compressor. It's not unlikely I would have been scared to install the new one, too.

New wabco compressor came from Arnott today and half an hour later I'm back in action. I have added checking the intake filter and blowing the vent lines out to my service schedule.
