Default Drive shaft clarification

I have been searching/reading on the front drive shaft issue for hours, but don't understand exactly how to tell if mine is ok or needs to be replaced. Just bought an 04 D2 w/ 68k, bringing it home next weekend. When I was inspecting it I did see grease fittings on front shaft- how many should there be for it to be correct and not need replacing?. I'm trying to understand if because it has fittings, it means it was replaced/rebuilt or by the later 04's did any come greaseable from the factory?

Thanks for any help

One on the main slip shaft, one on the front u-joint and 2 or 3 on the 2 u-joints that hook to the t/case.
If you don't have this, it is an accident waiting to happen.

Look in the DII sticky section for the "Propshaft Rebuild" thread. it answers all your questions.
