Default Driver Window Regulator Redneck Repair Ideas?

We were having really bad weather for the last few weeks and few days ago my window exploded. I dont know if was anything related to hail or not. At the end I figured out the problem was the plastic wheel which keeps the metal bar on place. Is there any way to repair it cost effectively?
I already checked the junk yards and couldnt find any DII with window mechanism. Can i get that part out from the passenger side? Thanks in advance!

Where do you live?

I might have some of those parts, post a pic of what you need and I'll dig around.

Thank you!!!
I need the plastic wheel which goes over the little metal 'rod'.
It sounds crazy to buy a whole mechanism for that tiny part but i might not have another option :/

You do have an option, You can get the wheel from Shapeways, they come in sets of three(3) and they are two parts that you slide over the rivet and glue together with a 2 part epoxy.

Do you ever come to Austin for anything, I live in South Austin and would gladly loan you a set, and you could repay me, when yours come in.

The make them per order, and do not keep them in stock. takes a couple of weeks, unless you pay their extra fee.
I ordered mine to replace my son's and to replace any that might break on mine in the future.

You are awesome, thank you very much!
I go to Austin once/twice a month, please let me know if there is any basic off roading trips around there!!
I ordered the part already, I shall receive it in less than 2 weeks. And I am also waiting for the radiator so the window is not the biggest problem of her at the moment but I really appreciate your offer!! Please let me know if you ever need anything from SA

I went to Home Depot and bought a few different sized washers, got one that would fit then put a retaining clip on it and a ton of grease (to help it roll.) works just fine
