Default Droopy Back End on Disco II

2000 Disco II, almost 100K miles, with ACE.

I have noticed recently that when my wife parks her Disco, the passenger rear side of the vehicle sits a lot lower than the rest. Would this be an indication that there is something wrong with the rear air shock system? If so, what do I need to look for to repair this issue? How serious is it?

Thanks,

Well you can do a search on the forum for this one, it is a very common problem with the SLS.
This will fix the problem forever.

You can take a spary bottle with soapy water and start the truck in the morning and spray all around the air spring and look for leaks.
Could be a loose air fitting, could be a bad airbag.

Most likely a leaking air spring. Spray it down as Spike said. Make sure you operate the SLS while checking. It needs to be checked at every level possible as the leak can be hidden at one height but not another.

Or you could save time messing about, know where you are with age / maintenanceetc, and just replace both rear air springs............seems its a "little" more pricey in that states for the air springs

Ken,
If you are at the 80,000 plus range, your bads are starting to leak. You can by replacements from Arnott in Florida for $129 a piece, much less then the dealer, lifetime warranty and a far better design.
If you want more information, PM me and lets talk.
