This something you guys might be interested in? I'm still working on it, but, looks promising. Fits a 10" ipad/tablet, requires a 12v->5v step down with usb-c (about 10$ on amazon). Side note, i havent been able to get the step down to work with the power lead on the dvd power plug, so, not sure where im going to get power yet unless i sort that out somehow (may just drag a new line up from the boot from my other thread).
It will rest on the existing dvd 'frame' plastic as a drop in, what do you think?
