e3 Plugs Don't Last
Hi all,
Just wanted to share my experience with e3 plugs. DII with 162k miles.
I put them in less than 20k miles ago. Recently I have been throwing misfire codes (p0300, etc.) rough idle, rough shifting.
I thought about going back to Bosch platinum plus 4's, but I didn't have good luck with them either.
So I went back to oem champion double platinums. The oem stock number for the Champions is 7070. Good luck finding those locally. The champion 7318 is apparently the same plug, available at NAPA and much cheaper.
Put them in and the engine has smoothed out tremendously, shifts smooth, idles great. Can't tell you how long they will last, but huge improvement over the e3's.
