Default EKA code for 15yrs old Disco II

I need EKA code for my Disco, but problem is that there is no local Land Rover dealer in my country.

My remote keys dont work, and If I open car with key I cant start engine.

I have contacted Land Rover International, but they say it is old car and maybe they dont have EKA code. They will contact me next week, but I am already 5 days without car.

Is there anything I can try? I have four digit number on grey plastic but it does not work, and I have red that that is engine code and not EKA.

If Land Rover does not have EKA for my car, what should I do, throw my car to trash?

The EKA is only available from LR and as far as I know all D2s have one. Mine was a 1999 D2 and it certainly had one.

If you can find a rover mechanic with an Autologic, it can read the EKA code.

Yep, though I thought there were some issue about not being able to get to the EKA if the system was armed. Worst case you could replace the BCU with another one.

Might have been a fluke, but my system got armed and my daughter had the only working remote. Got the EKA with Autologic.

Thanks for your replies guys.

@Alphamale glad to hear that, I hope I will get my code from LR.

@Abran @jafir I have contacted dozen of mechanics and they all have told me that they can help me. Most of them never heard about EKA code. Hope to find one with enough knowledg and Autologic

I have got EKA code from LR in nearby country and it is the same four digit number that I have on little grey plastic with my spare key.

I have tried it 30+ times, using stopwatch everytime, and did not work.

I have red that number on little grey plastic is engine code and not EKA code.

Can someone confirm that?

It sounds like they gave you the code for cutting the key not the EKA.

Try 1515 as your EKA.

If you're going to be somewhere without a dealer, it might be a good idea to invest in a nanocom. Home Page - NANOCOM Evolution

@jafir You are right, that is not EKA.
Tried 1515 and it did not work.
Every post about EKA I have red, people said they got EKA over the phone right away, and I have to wait more than a week.

I will try to find used nanocom and buy it. It would be much easier with it.
Everytime i went to local workshop, they never did any diagnostic.
I have RAVE manual printed in my car for mechanics

I have called:
-LR Serbia (they said EKA code is not actual code nor number, it is procedure that I can find on the Internet, and unlock my car).

-LR Croatia(gave me code same as code on grey plastic)

-LR UK( after five times I have called them, they finally took my VIN number, and said that they dont have it in the database)

LR International( they said they will try to find the code, but they will contact me next week when I will need to provide them VIN number and proof that car is mine).

I have spent $150+ on my phone already.
