Default Electrical concerns?

Planning to add the Terra Firma roof light bar using the Hella Valuefit round LED lights, 4 of them.
On my ‘00 Disco II, new alternator, are there any concerns about electrical that I should consider?
Planning to use the Hella wiring kit with additional Disco switches added to the binnacle in place of the factory blanks.
Thoughts??
And as always, thanks in advance!!

no concerns. Those lights are a great price point. I have 4 on my roof rack as well, 2 spot and 2 driving, haven't used them much but they are the right size. Only negative is the lenses are plastic. But the draw from those lights is nothing to be concerned about. I'm unfamiliar with the hella wiring kit as I wired mine through a switchpro type controller. I will say that I wish I had not combined the lights harness on the roof and instead ran 4 individual wires down and combined under the hood or at the controller, will probably remake my harness from the lights down at some point (but realistically probably not haha).

Thanks for the response. Curious as to placement. Where are the different types mounted? Middle, outside??

I have spots in the middle and then the driving on the sides and they are tilted slightly out for more coverage. Like I said have barely used them other than proof they work as night wheeling or finding a campsite at night is less than ideal with a newborn and a 2 year old lol

Understand completely. My situation will be for camping as I am a grandfather with 5 grandsons in different troop/packs so my Rover gets the camp trailer to whatever spot needed, AND back out again. With the change of seasons, Dark thirty is much earlier in Indiana, so having as much light as possible is a must when well off the beaten trail.

I may suggest that without hood blackout then roof lights may cause more issues than not with glare. Good bumper mounted lights are often just as effective especially at the speeds travelled for finding camp sites.

I have the blackout hood decal already installed.
Knew it was for roof lights glare, but a while ago liked the looks and installed it after body shop work to repair a shackle block flying off the hood and into the windshield when a chain failed. 😉😳
