Default Electrical Help

Hi all. I noticed today that when I put on the driving lights (one click before the headlights) that my right headlight comes on very dim. The rear lights light up, but in the front I only get the one headlight. Any ideas?

I'm thinking the headlight should not even come on. The side lights should. The bulbs are fine.

you need to replace the penut bulb in your left headlight. its to illuminate the lamp, but not project light... tiny bulb, mounted almost under the headlight bulb

DI's have "city" lights, the bulbs in the front marker lights do NOT come on but the headlights do come on very dimly.
Here in the States we call the parking lights. They are used for parking down by the lake in your dads Buick with yoru girlfriend and then 9 months later you get one hell of a graduation present and 17 years later you must help him fix his car and teach him how to care for and repair it.

Don't know what Spike is rambling on about, but your "parking" lights are in the headlight housing. In small towns in England, it is illegal to drive through the city with your lights on.

I thought I had a wiring problem too. Right headlamp was out, and left parking light was out. Just look right under where your regular bulbs go. You can put in white, amber, or blue to match the neons under the truck....

I'll be d@mned, my apologies khuds, it is a bulb! I can't believe I've had this car for 5 years and never noticed where the driving lights are. I had no idea. I only noticed it today because I pulled in front of a store with glass windows and saw the reflection. I guess I always have the headlights either on or off.

I like the blue light idea. It will match the neons and 22's.

Thanks!!
