How dose a 1996 disco 1 suppose to sound like at idle, Smooth or rough?

Well Mine sound like a old V8 Chevy engine and its have me a bit concern. Any idea to slove that engine sound?

Your question is a little difficult to answer, as "rough" means different things to different people. Is it a vibration, or is it a noise ---or both?

It should be smooth, maybe a little engine lifter or exhaust noise but smooth.
What sort of maintance has it had lately?

Its not vibrating its just the sound no light execpt SRS, i'd change the plugs and the wire, add fuel additive, and used sytenthic oil. Maybe its misfireing, How do you fix it.
