Default engine treatment

Just purchased a LR. I want to do an oil change and wondered if the teflon treated oils ( such as slick 50) are ok to use, and if so, which is the best. I have used dura-lube in the past on other vehicles. I have a 99 lr with 85k on it. Thanks for any input you might have.

No need for snake oil on any vehicle.

Agree 100%. Snake oil treatments are worthless. Change your oil every 3000 if conventional, 5000 if synthetic. I have two cars with over 300,000 miles that are clean inside, all original engines, run perfect.
