Default Engine under cover shield- how to remove it

Can some one provide me with the best procedure to remove the under engine cover shield?
I tried removing the bolts but there was not enough space to get it out.
Thank you

are you talking about the plastic shield that hides the oil filter and what not, directly behind the bumper?

Sorry for the curiosity but why did you end up ripping it out in under the rain?

It has a couple screws in the front that you unscrew and it falls down, slide it forward.
