Default Error Code 1450. Any new insight into what it is???

I've had error code 1450 coming up for a couple years now off and on. Last I heard,....there was a lot of confusion over what it might be,...with the suggestion that it might be related to the evap system, since 1450 was apparently an evap system code for Ford.

Any new insight into this code?

I am about to sell my 03 and would like to fix this code before selling it.

Seems like it's an evap system leak. Did you try replacing the gas cap?

Clean the gas spout with scotch-brite so the new gas cap has a better fitment
