Ethanol in Gas?

Ok, What do we do now? Book says to not use ethanol in our discos. What does it do to the engine? Is there something that can be added to counteract it? Man! What next?

I remember reading the same thing but when I looked in
my owners manual I found that up to 10% ethanol was allowable.
