Default EVAP SMOKEDOWN

So I put thesmoke to the evap system today to see if there really is a leak tripping the pesky MIL(p0455). I was really hoping to find smoke leaking from somewhere in the system, but no go. I tested the cap as well, it was good. The Snap on motus wouldnt even comunicate with the truck enough to look for values on the fuel tank pressure sensor. I guess ill just endure the lamp until we get emissions here and then leave it up to LR to fix. Anybody in PA have a LR T4 testbook?

Hum....there is a valve at the carbon canister that will stick and can cause a CEL with a EVAP code, but normally when that happens you have a hard time filling the gas tank.
I suppose if that valve were stuck open it could set off a EVAP leak code.

i dunno, without a t4 i cant get the purge and vent solenoids to work by remote to fill it with smoke again and see it it gets past either of those points.
