Yes, they make pretty big money and a high net worth. The holding company that oversees the LRF says we are in their top 10 positions out of nearly some 250 plus forums.

Yeah, that site is interesting.
My webserver died so I can't put my personal site in there which had my landrover blogs to see what it thinks my site was worth.. Haha. Probably $.01

And, my little free site http://enginecodemaster.com to help people with codes is dead too.

I was getting lazy about looking up codes and than I realized that most people on here who have been around for years have the codes MEMORIZED!!!!

Learn a little bit about web, about Rovers, be helpful. That's what life is about.

I think that site looks at the URL and tries to figure out how much it is worth from traffic and other stuff I don't understand.

But WOW.
Internet Brands went for $640 Million?

Someone is pretty smart!

In a few years - maybe 5 maybe 10, I'll not be able to find work so I look at other things to do...

Problem is all that takes a lot of TIME.

Well, at least my Discovery II is not breaking down. But, I try to limit the miles I put onto it.

This site is invaluable to many people as is the time and effort you guys give.

Free internet sites is just like Radio and TV, they earn their money from sponsorships and advertising. With an average of around 4 to 500 people on this site 24 hours a day, you can see why the advertising is everywhere.

It is not always about pay per click, but impressions. Advertisers want you to see their brand over and over and they pay top dollar to sites that can show them that their add appeared 4K times a day.
