Default Exhaust

Im looking to run duel exhaust on my disco 2. Want stainless side exhaust tips coming out just barely visible under my running brds on each side in front of rear tire. Does anyone know what kind of mufflers I should use for a good v8 sound but not crazy loud. Just noticeable a little. I am going to have all the pipes custom bent as I do not want anything hanging dwn. Want everything as tight up under the rover as possible and out of site. Thanks for the help.

Borla Pro XS. I've run more than a dozen setups on my Disco and this was by far my favorite. The least drone and the best tone also awesome customer service. I had a little issue with the packing material (I ran it with long tube headers and no cats for a while, so really my fault) and they shipped me a replacement for free. I got it two days later.

As for running them out the sides, I've looked at doing that before but you've gotta have a funky pipe layout to avoid the radius arms because they're so long you'll essentially have to do a u-bend, run the pipe backwards, then another U to bring it back in front of the rear wheel. Just food for thought.

Just ask the shop who's doing the work what they recommend or what brand they carry.

I don't recommend that. Most will recommend flowmaster or some knockoff and you'll get a lot of drone.

Sure did. Also had Magnaflows cats which change the tone some, but would just be a little quieter with stock cats.
