Default Exhaust Condensation

The more and more I read about head gasket problems here, the more I am beginning to wonder about my '99 Disco II. I'm pushing 120k miles and so far have not had any major drivetrain issues. I've replaced a water pump and the normal maintenance, but no major issues.

What I have noticed for quite a while is water coming out of the exhaust when the temp/humidity leads me to believe there shouldn't be any. I don't know if it has always done it and I just haven't paid attention, or if it is something recent.

I smelled the liquid and it has no anti-freeze odor, so I didn't think anything of it.

Now I am curious... what is a reliable test for head gasket leakage?

Water is a byproduct of combustion and when the engine is cold or when the temps are low it is normal for water to come out the exhaust.
