Default Exhaust leak at SAI tubes

I appear to have an exhaust leak from teh metal sai tubes - checked via vacuum cleaner method. Does this seem reasonable ? Sounds like a y pipe gasket leak and behaves the same quiets with heat

Thanks I found it - now to figure out how to fix it - in place ideally.

The copper eventually cracks due to fatigue. I tried braising and high temp JB weld but both didn’t last very long. In the end I replaced it with a used part. I cut the old off but I couldn’t remove the head adapters from the SAI nut so it might be a good idea to have one or two spares.

@zski128 a used bit would be ideal but there are none available here at wreckers. I may try muffler wrap as a temp solution until I can source replacements.

Assuming the photo is accurate, I'd consider this solid pipe an upgrade: https://www.roverparts.com/fuel-syst...es/WAP500050G/

@matt3503 weird those did not show up for me on my search. @Brandon318 I agree with the solid tubes but not for that price it is about 20.00 of parts and 30 bucks of labour - used to do that kind of work way over priced. I am checking with a local fabricator to see of they can knock something off for me.
