Default Exhaust Manifold Gasket -- What do I need?

Hi guys -- One of my manifold gaskets failed and I'm going to be replacing them. I've looked up the gaskets, but what other parts am I going to need for the job? I assume I'll need the studs as well, but which ones, and is there anything else I should get?

Any help is appreciated!

Since you mention studs I expect the failed gasket is between the exhaust manifold and the downpipe, and not the gasket where the exhaust manifold connects to the the head. The exhaust manifolds are connected to the heads with bolts, not studs.

When i replaced that gasket on my truck 3+ years ago I needed no other parts. I was concerned about the rusted studs but the nuts came off of them with no trouble. I don't recall spraying the studs with PB Blaster before trying to remove the nuts but I may have.

I actually believe it's between the manifold and the head, because everything from the manifold back is brand new (less than four months) and I can actually feel it blowing from the head and the manifold.

In that case you still shouldn't need anything else. The exhaust manifold bolts are reusable. Just find and use the torque wrench specs in the RAVE for those bolts.

Don't rule out multiple exhaust leaks or the parts from the manifold back. It took months for me to find all the leaks when I did a new exhaust. More months when I did a new engine... Every time you fix one the next one shows up, keep at it and you will be good, eventually.
