Exhaust manifold to Y-Pipe bolts busted...
Got the cats stolen on the truck. Got a new Y pipe and while installing, the short bolts from the manifold to the Y-pipe sheared, some with just enough room to get a nut onto it, but I'm still getting exhaust leak. Best to remove the manifolds, take out the broken bolt thingies, replace, re-attach Y-pipe and go from there???

Yes. And it really isn't that bad. I was really worried when I had to deal with this on mine. Some goober had actually welded the nuts/studs on mine, so I had no choice but to remove and take a cut-off wheel to the "Y" pipe side. The manifolds came off very easy. I had to drill a couple of the studs, but I was able to get them out with minimal fuss. I will confess, I am lucky enough to have a mill, which made this a bit easier, but I could have done it with a hand drill and some swearing.
Good luck.
Good luck.
