EXHAUST SYSTEM: STOCK , BORLA OR ?
I was thinking about getting a borla catback exhaust system, but I don't really want that rumbling sound that you typically get from installing a borla exhaust.
What does everyone else think about aftermarket exhaust?
Does it really improve gas mileage? or just a little boost in horsepower?
Is it worth getting?

Borla's tend to get very harmononic inside a Disco, I wouldn't suggest it.
THeir benefit does not support their cost. If you are looking for just a little more mellow sound, cut of your rear resinator.
There are things you can do to get your mileage up some. What have you tried so far, what octane gas are you using?

I'm using 93 octane. How do I cut my rear resinator? Is that street legal?

You can just use a sawzall and hack it off... Be sure to turn down the pipe with a tip, I have heard of D2's loosing their tail lights from the heat.
No K&N, it will kill your MAF.
Not too much for mileage on these things. Not much you can do with a 3 ton hog with the aerodynamics of a dishwasher...Look into changing your drive fluids to synthetic. It will protect better, and give you a little boost in MPG..
