F and Rear Lockers
I understand what they are and do but was trolling though the forums here researching Disco II's before I decide to buy, I have seen some post on people adding them on,my confusion is I had thought Diso II's had front and rear lockers already?
Or is it just some do? Some years? ect ect.

The differentials are open diffs; no lockers.
The transfer case is what locks the differentials so you get a 50/50 split front and rear.
On some of the Disco II's this is circumvented by the traction control.

Ok that explains it.
I know ARB makes lockers for Diso II' (or did) Guess after I buy one and test out the 4x4 system buy trying to get stuck I decide if I need them, might be an intresting way of testing it is challange someone around here with a stock rubicon to see who can do more without getting stuck.
Thx,

If you buy ARB air lockers on a
disco 2 and take it to jeep rubicon you'll will murder it off road I know because it said happen with a friend in his discovery with lockers against a jeep rubicon and the jeep had larger tires and dana axles. Rover's kick ***.
