So, I've posted on several occasion the length that I go to (as we all do) to keep my truck looking and running perfect. I posted before about an oil leak that I just couldn't pin down. I would power scrub the motor, take off the undercarriage cover, tighten oil pan bolts, check things suggested to me like the oil pressure switch, gaskets...still dripping. Part of the problem was that the car wash is several miles from my house, and I live in the city. By the time I would scrub the underside and get home, it was already dripping and the fan had blown the oil around. Long story short, in my final attempt I ran my arm behind the motor and rubbed against the LOOSE oil filter. Son of a B***h!

Moral of the story. Don't always assume it's a big probem, sometimes you overlook the stupid stuff!

 

Well I bet you have a clean motor after all the cleaning.
