Default Factory air intake mod

"Mod" might be a big word to attach to such a small improvement, but if you have a stock air intake that hasn't deteriorated yet, wrapping with with this 3M 8067 tape will ensure it stays that way for a long, long time. I was using this tape on a house build and the idea for this application popped into my head. I just picked up a mint intake from a junkyard yesterday and wrapping it reminded me to finally post about it. The one I did two years ago has so far held up perfectly well.

Here's a link to the tape: https://amzn.to/3V9DW8y It's by far the best I've run across because it's super tacky, won't lose adhesion, and it's extremely flexible, so it'll move with the fabric that the intake is made of. Fully air sealed and waterproof too.
