Factory Hose Clamps

Factory Hose Clamps
I've read in various posts the factory hose clamps being referred to as "one time usage" and "have to cut them off", so I thought I'd show how the factory clamps can be removed without cutting and they can be re-used (I prefer screw clamps but sometimes the factory ones are easier, especially on vacuum lines and such.
Here's the factory clamp (we've all seen these)
Use a small pocket screwdriver in the slot in the top
Pry the screwdriver toward the clamp and it will pop open
To reinstall, use a normal pair of pliers (or any pair of pliers will work, I use slip joints in the large configuration
Squeeze the clamp together and it will "click"
Hope this is helpful

They drive me crazy...
Seems like I can never remember the correct way to remove - it's like the first time every time I try to remove one of these. My tendency is to replace with clamps I've known and loved all these years. But, I don't worry about this style popping loose, based on my bad experience with them!
