Fan always on
My fan is always on. Is this normal. I've only just spotted it so it may have been like this since I bought it a year ago but I'm not sure. I've also had a problem with the heater not working when idling such as at traffic jams so could this be due to the fan?
You need to put what Mike asked for in your signature, or post it every time. Get to be a hassle asking every time.
Your cooling fans come on when your a/c is on, but in your case, you are low on coolant. If you bottle is full, you need to have the system properly bled. I take it when you say you lose heat at stops it means it stops blowing hot air and only blows cold. That is from not enough coolant being circulated through the system. No warm coolant to heat the heater.

That answers a lot of questions actually. My radiator has been running hot ever since I had a new one fitted in at a garage. I guess he didn't bleed it properly.
Thanks for the tip about the signature. I'll do it.

If your cooling system is the same, there should be a plastic bleed screw in the RH side of your radiator. With the engine cold, opn the screw and fill through there. Start the engine, and keep filling it. Check it cold after a few starts...
